Unlocking Accessibility: How the Latest iPad Empowers People with Low Vision
At Vision Nonprofit, we believe accessibility should be available to everyone. For students and individuals with low vision, having the right technology can be life-changing. That’s why Apple’s latest iPad accessibility features are such a game-changer—helping users read, learn, and navigate the world more independently.

Spark of Inspiration
This morning, Joey had a spark of inspiration—completely on his own, he decided to create a mini website tour for Vision Nonprofit! He walks viewers through a few key pages and then dives into the stories section, where he highlights his story about Jupiter. His excitement for sharing and storytelling shines through as he encourages everyone to check it out.
It’s the Little Things That Make a Big Impact
Supporting Vision Nonprofit doesn’t have to be complicated. Every action—whether it’s wearing a bracelet, sharing our story, or engaging with our content—helps us continue providing essential technology for children who need it.
Joey’s Classroom Tech

Tips to Help Kids with Low Vision
At Vision Nonprofit, we believe that every child deserves the tools and confidence to thrive—no matter their vision abilities. That’s why we’re excited to share Joey’s latest video, "Thriving with Nystagmus," where he talks about his own experience with low vision and offers practical tips to help other kids like him.
Meet Joey
Joey has always had a passion for technology, but as a child with low vision, he also understands firsthand the challenges that come with it. When we started Vision Nonprofit, Joey was our very first applicant, and in many ways, he was the one who kicked off this entire mission.
As parents navigating his diagnosis of congenital nystagmus, we saw the impact that having the right technology—like an iPad with accessibility tools—had on his ability to learn, read, and explore the world. We knew other kids could benefit just as much, and that’s how Vision Nonprofit was born.
Joey continues to be a huge part of what we do, sharing his knowledge and excitement for technology with others. His journey inspired this organization, and now, because of him, we’re helping more children get the tools they need to succeed.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey. It all started with one application, and today, we’re reaching so many more kids who deserve the same opportunities. 💙
